Jalisco is the second largest producer of avocado in Mexico, where APEAJAL represents more than 3,200 producers.
The sector generates a strong regional economic impact, with exports of 164,180 tons in 2025, a production value of more than 8.448 million pesos in 2024, and the livelihood of more than 20 thousand direct and 45 thousand indirect jobs.
